The growth in poker popularity was on full display at the 2022 WSOP, for which PokerGO was once again the official live broadcast provider for. The 2022 WSOP Main Event featured 8,663 participants and a prize pool of more than $80 million, making it the second-largest WSOP Main Event ever, and several other events achieved record-setting turnouts.

Last February, PokerGO launched on Pluto TV, offering consumers 24/7 access to poker tournaments, documentaries and other entertaining gaming content. By leveraging Frequency Studio’s best-in-class content management system, PokerGO can better repurpose its VOD library and broadcast live tournament action.

“PokerGO has established itself as the leading provider of poker content in the world,”  Frequency SVP, Business Development & Distribution Jon Cohen said. “Early on, PokerGO recognized the opportunity that FAST offers to help scale their viewership and monetization. We’re pleased they tapped Frequency to take their linear channel to the next level. There is great opportunity in FAST for gaming, and gambling in particular, and PokerGO is in an advantageous position to grow its distribution and ad revenue.”

PokerGO’s rich VOD library combined with live tournaments and cash games will keep viewers engaged with their channel – and of course, it will be free to access.
