Description

Remz Flowfile Ft. Tony Rivituso, 25yo, from Las Vegas. -- Whatup Tony, introduce yourself plz - My name is Tony Rivituso, I am 25 years old (26 in November!) and have been skating for 10+ years. I've been known to grom out on "insert bad-ass pro's name here" now and then, and I'll always respect what the legends have done for our sport. But it's the homies that always inspire me to skate the hardest. How is the Rolling scene in your beautiful city? - I live in Las Vegas right now with my two roommates Brett Walters and Jeremy Cloe. We're the resident blade house so if you're out here, hit us up! Vegas has a pretty healthy scene with a lot of younger dudes holding it down for the next generation. Having a Sunday night skate is the best thing we could have done. It gets people out skating that we haven't seen in ages. We have been doing it for the better part of two years now and I am happy to say our scene has really improved. Part of that improvement is also the WRS making it's first stop ever in Las Vegas for the Finals. I couldn't be more excited to see the world's top pros handle business at my local park. There are loads of parks that cater to any terrain you could want to ride. The street spots out here are just as amazing. Vegas is constantly expanding so we are always finding new obstacles. Being that our spots don't have to endure the elements (i.e. snow, rain, ice...), they can be almost like skating a skatepark sometimes. You can always count on a desert city to have some amazing ditches, Vegas does not disappoint! Cool! Whats up with you and Remz and how did it happen? - Getting to represent Remz is absolutely a dream come true. I love the OS models and have been riding them since the OS1's. I took advantage of the luxury of having numerous videographers available... and managed to get a few edits online which is how I met Sean Tabone, owner of Jin Joint. Noting that I already rode Remz, he told Kato about me. Then one morning I was awakened by my roommate Jeremy saying he had just gotten off the phone with Kato making arrangements for WRS... and that I was flow for Remz! After I recovered from my surprised stupor, I immediately sent Kato an email... and my skates arrived that Monday. It's been a long road and it's just the beginning, but it never would have been possible without the help of my friends. Thank you guys: Jeremy Cloe, Brett Walters, Kasra Ghaharian, Dom West, Sean Tabone at Jin Joint, Jess D, JC Rowe and Pez at 50/50, Jimbo Ervin, Brandon Giffen, Kenny Jones, Okie, Adam Murphy, Zach Flynn, RK, My family, and last but certainly not least... Kato.
