Description

If the National Security Agency collecting your phone and email data concerns you, then the news that scientists may have cracked the secret to reading minds certainly can't be comforting. Researchers at Yale are able to determine who someone is looking at merely by reading their brain waves, while scientists at University of California-Berkley and Carnegie Mellon are on the verge of predicting thoughts and controlling computers with the mind. While these have positive implications for everyday life and those with disabilities, privacy concerns are an integral part of the development of these technologies. Discussing those implications with Ameera David is RT's Anastasia Churkina.
