Description

Black and White is a searing and exhilarating look at race, sex and hip-hop in the melting pot that is Manhattan at the turn of the 21st century. Documentary filmmaker Sam Donager (Brooke Shields) and her fascinatingly perverse husband (Robert Downey Jr.) follow a group of privileged uptown teenagers drawn to the hip-hop world of impresario Rich Bower (hip-hop producer Power). Meanwhile, an NYPD detective (Ben Stiller) attempts to trap Bower by blackmailing his childhood friend, Dean (Allan Houston of the New York Knicks), a popular college basketball player. When Dean's malevolent girlfriend (Claudia Schiffer) tells Rich about the sting, a chain of events is set in motion that will change everyone's lives forever.
