The Escalation goes through eyes of Prof. Isaac Connor as he see fucking shits going in previous number #1 science research facility. =BRIEF HISTORY AND PRELUDE= Black Mesa Research Facility, previously known as Mesa Weaponly Developement Center, is located in infamous vast, desolated desert in New Mexico, which size is big enough to across northern New Mexico, southern Colorado, and eastern Oklahoma. The company started as small chemical lab in western Colorado, under name Presentation. Meanwhile, in late WW2, US goverment built large ICBM lab in northern New Mexico, in order to prepare possible WW3, which never happened. US sold entire bunker to Presentation Chemical Lab for 7.2 million dollars. At this point, company changed their name to Mesa Weaponly Developement Center, and started to invent weapon for military uses. The company also allied with Aperture Innovator, but soon broke up as their CEO passed out due to mercury poison. As time progesses, company grew at extremely fast speed, and US launched Apollo 11 to moon on 1969 by Black Mesa's technology. Richard Nixon promised long-time support with their success. Company changed their name to Black Mesa Research Facility (as we know today) and logo to more mesa-like image. After, with US government's official, large support, Black Mesa grew everyday. Sometime in later 80's, two unknown scientist discovered another dimension in outer universe. Which later codenamed 'Xen'. Black Mesa organized 'Survey Team' and sent numrous researcher into Xen dimension. Many alien creature was captured and studied in lab. Soon they found a crystal, and one anonymous science suggested that, if an object resonates, it can cause vibration in space. And if it resonates enough, it can tear down space and release a gate into another universe. However such object does not exists in Earth, but this crystal was enough to tear a gate between Xen and Earth. This experiment was went down on May 16th, 2000. In Sector C 'Anomalous Materials' laboratory. Switch went down, and device which resonating crystal activated. However, immediate result was catastrophic. =DESCRIPTION= A dimensional lift has opened between Earth, and an alien planet known as 'Xen', relentlessly spawning massive exterrestrial creatures from other universe within compound. As all phones are dead, and fire exits are burried down, Isaac is forced to go through now collapsed offices and laboratories, sometimes being forced to do minor tasks such as relocate antenna, and go to most bottom of this facility. As military keep bombarding surface, and aliens keep spawning within facility, Isaac is now trapped in compound. His fate is depends on your action; whether you will ragequit game and delete save file; or see final boss and defeats her, it's your choice.
