Description

This was WB's first new Looney Tunes they made in their re-opened cartoon studio since 1963. But this was the era when the cartoons started to turn out really bad! They chose an animator from Hanna-Barbera (and former director of the Walter Lantz cartoons) Alex Lovy to be the main director of the cartoons, and brung in 2 film editors Hal Geer and Donald A. Douglas (Hanna-Barbera's sound effects editor) to do the sound effects. Every one of these cartoons uses an unusual sound effects library containing very small portion of Hanna-Barbera and Looney Tunes sound effects. Aside from Bill Lava's catchy score, the animation looks ugly, the characters are very 1 dimensional, and the sound effects is not only annoying, but lazy and they repeat the same sound effects over and over again! Seriously?! They should of kept Rudy Larriva's crew from Format Film to do these cartoons! Note: This is a UK copy and I had to cover the Cartoon Network UK logo. © Warner Bros.
