The Antares rocket has two stages. The first uses liquid fuel, and the second uses solid fuel. The rocket's first stage is powered by two Russian NK33 engines, which have the greatest thrust to weight ratio of any rocket engine. The Antares rocket will be used to resupply the International Space Station. Developer of the Antares rocket, Orbital Sciences Corp, say it is also capable of delivering payloads to other planets.
