Congressional Candidate and former Governor Edwin Edwards talks to LSU Tiger TV about why he is running for Congress. Edwards, a Democrat, was a member of the House of Representatives from 1965 to 1971, and served four terms terms as Governor of Louisiana. After he left office, he was convicted on 17 criminal counts in 2001 and served nine years in Federal Prison. He was released in 2011 and is currently seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives from Louisiana's 6th Congressional District.
