Steve Hackett is probably the most underrated guitar player I know of He started out in Genesis then left after the Seconds Out tour to start a solo career and also played in GTR with Steve Howe his music sounds like it has a lot of keyboards in it but it is actually mostly guitar and very few keyboards he really puts out some beautiful music.
