In this interview I explained that shark fins should be banned in B.C., where they still enter the continent though they are blocked to the south, in Washington, Oregon, and California. But every reference to shark finning was edited out. This also happened when the BBC interviewed me for Shark Week, when my sharks were being finned at night and filmed during the day. This is a difficulty in publicizing the need to save sharks from extinction by curbing the market for shark fin soup.
