Bibigo Bulgogi BBQ Beef

Description

Bulgogi literally means 'fire meat' and it refers to a method of grilling. It has long been Korea's favourite dish, not only served to special guests but also enjoyed daily at home. Ingredients 500g of beef fillet tail (beef rump can also be used) 150g of Bulgogi Sauce Original 3 Portobello mushrooms 3 garlic cloves 45ml of olive oil 9 okras (baby courgette can also be used) 15g of leeks or baby leeks Salt and pepper to season Serves: 3 Prep time: 10 minutes Marinating time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Method 1. Slice the beef very thinly and place in a mixing bowl 2. Pour the Bulgogi Sauce Original over the beef then mix by hand for 1 minute 3. Set the beef aside for 20 minutes to marinate While the beef is marinating 1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp piece of kitchen paper and remove the stalk 2. Chop the garlic and place it on top of the mushroom 3. Drizzle olive oil over the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Roast the mushrooms for 10 minutes in the oven (180°c) 4. Blanch the okra in salted boiling water for 1 minute 5. Slice the leeks thinly Cooking the beef 1. Cook the beef in a hot frying pan with a tsp of oil for approximately 3 minutes 2. Place the pan-fried beef over the cooked mushroom then put the sliced leek on top and place the okra on the side 3. Serve with Bibigo cooked white rice
