Description

Please visit our project home and contribute at: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/let-s-put-hungrytown-on-the-map#home Where in the world is Hungrytown? We've been touring just about everywhere for more than ten years. We've built a grass roots following of zillions around the world, and we love, love, love what we do. We've done all we can, and now we want to take Hungrytown to the next level. So won't you please help put Hungrytown on the map? If you're not familiar with our music, our songs are simple, melodic and often harmony- and vitamin-packed. Some folks call it Americana, some folks call it celtic, some folks call it pop, some folks call it retro and some folks call it folk. But no matter what you call it, the music of Hungrytown always calls you back. We're starting work on our third album, Further West, but we'd like to bring in a few brilliant guest musicians, a master mastering engineer, a CD pressing factory and a great promotional team. This is where you come in. You can sit down over there if you want. Sorry the place is a mess, but we're busy making our third album. We've set a goal of $15,000, but anything over that amount will be vastly appreciated. As some of you know, our infamous touring camper, i.e. the Blue Meanie, caught fire last July, while we were touring in the great state of Washington, i.e., over 3,000 miles from our home in Vermont. Though our insurance covered the enormous repairs, the related expenses burned up money intended for replacing and augmenting our aging gear and instrumentation. That's why any amount above our goal would boost our music-making power in a big way. We're grateful for the loyalty of every fan we've earned over the years, whether or not they have any money to contribute. If you're able help us, however, we've set up some terrific incentives that you're sure to love, or at least tolerate grudgingly. In closing, we wish each of you happiness, comfort and peace of mind, and we urge you to consider supporting Hungrytown in our hour of musical need. Let's put Hungrytown on the map! Love, Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson
