Description

Anxiety looms over the fate of learning activities in public schools across the country ahead of their re-opening this Monday. Come Tuesday morning and the public education sector could be plunged into crisis if the government fails to pay increased teachers salaries as awarded by the courts and the tutors carry out their threat of going on strike. By Sunday evening there was no word from the government with the teachers' unions KNUT and KUPPET saying all is set for a countrywide job boycott unless the pays up.
