Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the parent body of banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba that carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, has been allocated over Rs 61 million by Pakistan's Punjab province government headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's PML-N party. Besides a grant-in-aid of over Rs 61 million in its budget for fiscal 2013-14 for 'Markaz-e-Taiba', the largest centre of the JuD, the provincial government has allocated Rs 350 million for setting up a "Knowledge Park" at the centre and other development initiatives. In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Maj Gen (Retd) G D Bakshi, Editor-in-Chief, Defence & Security; Mahroof Raza, Strategic Affairs Analyst; Admiral Javed Iqbal, Defense Anlayst and Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court -- discuss whether India can watch and do nothing as Pakistan openly funds the Lashkar-e-Taiba.
