Description

Scientists have discovered that additional treatments to pancreatic cancer, had no results and did not help patients survive longer. They tried giving patients a drug called erlotinib, and they also added radiation to their second round of chemotherapy. Dr. Pascal Hammel, the studies senior author, stated, “Chemoradiotherapy was not superior to chemotherapy.” Every year over 53,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and every year 42,000 American die from the disease. http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2016/05/03/Additional-treatments-offer-little-benefit-for-pancreatic-cancer-Study/3811462309259/ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
