http://techbookonline.com/news.html 3.24.12—Philadelphia Pa: (Nonprofit/Activism): There were no pictures of "Pigs" shooting down "Brothers" on the instant replay this Friday, as thousand took the streets in the Million Hoodie March to demand justice for Trayvon Martin, 17, an unarmed African-American murdered in Sanford Florida by George Zimmerman, 26, a trigger-happy neighborhood watch captain who has yet to be arrested. In what most people are referring to as the "Emmit Till" case of the 21st century, the racially fueled murder of Trayvon Martin has garnered national attention and support; with cities around the country organizing vigils, rallies and protest to stand in solidarity with the Martin family -- a grand jury will convene on April 10th. The "temporary" removal of Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee, a new state attorney to oversee the case and a taskforce to study Florida's Stand Your Ground law, has done little to nothing to appease an outraged public -- that fact was confirmed today as thousands poured into the streets and marched from 30th Street Station (30th & Market) to Love Park (15th & JFK), where a rally was held featuring Philadelphia's top African-American leaders and activist.
