Wells Fargo celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with real peoples’ stories of the impact the ADA had on their lives, the lives of those they care about, and their communities. Erik Weihenmayer is an adventurer, athlete, author and motivational speaker and the only blind person to summit Mt. Everest; he has also conquered the Seven Summits and most recently, kayaked the Grand Canyon. Erik is the co-founder of No Barriers USA, a Colorado non-profit whose mission is to unleash the potential of the human spirit. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a clear and comprehensive national mandate for the elimination of discrimination against individuals with disabilities that has had far reaching impact on our customers, on us, our companions, our team members, and our communities.
