What can I say? I just love this couple!.. They are warm and kind.. The moment I met Thomica, I just felt welcomed. When I attended their rehearsal, I felt the love and the bond of their family. It's AMAZING! They got married at the Emerald at Queensridge. Thomica got her hair and make-up done at the beautiful bridal suite and Brandon hang out with the guys at the Bachelor's man cave. Their whole family helped in the decorations for the event. And could I just say,they are such and artist! Thomica and her mom designed almost everything by themselves, from the centerpieces to the flowers even down to the broom that they used for a very special part of their ceremony-the jump the broom! Jump the broom is an African American tradition that signifies the union of a couple. They jump the broom to declare that they are now husband and wife. Their special friend also wrote a very meaningful poem for this part of the ceremony. "It is a sign of sweeping away the old and welcoming the new. Unable to be torn asunder by any man." The whole poem was great and it just summarized the love story of Brandon and Thomica! After tying the knot, they celebrated a wonderful reception. They gave a warm welcome to the new Mr. and Mrs. Flakes. This group could dance! The dance floor was never empty!!! And that was really great! So without further ado, here's their highlight reel.
