Audiences will have to wait until 2014 for the long awaited sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. The Weinstein Company announced that the film's release date will be pushed back almost a year, moving it from this October to August 22nd, 2014. And as disappointing as it may be, it may be a sign that the studio would rather take it's time to produce something we're all gonna love, versus rushing it into theaters. I mean, we've waited eight years, what's another 10 months or so right? The other good news about this new release date is that A Dame To Kill For is, so far, the only film slated for release on that date. So maybe that could also help the box office numbers, which could set the stage for more Sin City movies to follow. The cast of Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is pretty solid with Josh Brolin taking over for Clive Owen's original character, "Dwight." And the movie will be bringing back some of the old cast members like Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, and Rosario Dawson. And we will also see some new faces as well like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Haysbert. Robert Rodriguez is back to direct the sequel, who is also directing the much talked about Machete Kills which will be released in September of this year, so if you need Rodriguez fix, maybe Machete Kills will tie you over until the Sin City sequel! So, what do you think about the Sin City sequel getting pushed back to 2014?
