Description

John Lutz, Director of IT at WISER, shows how we use GoPro cameras in a variety of different situations at WISER. The FFMPEG software that can combine multiple videos into one can be found here; http://ffmpeg.org. Here is the script that uses FFMPEG to combine 2 videos vertically, on on top of the other. This script is set up to be used on a Mac (or other Linux based computer), but it can be modified to work on a Windows machine in a DOS prompt. #!/bin/bash #"Tall" GoPro 2 video creation script /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -loglevel warning -i "$1" -i "$2" -y -filter_complex "nullsrc=size=960x1080 [base]; \ [0:v] setpts=PTS-STARTPTS, scale=960x540 [top]; \ [1:v] setpts=PTS-STARTPTS,scale=960x540 [bottom]; \ [base][top] overlay=shortest=1 [tmp1]; \ [tmp1][bottom] overlay=shortest=1:y=540" \ -strict -2 -pix_fmt yuv420p -vcodec h264 -vtag mpeg "$3" The Peter M.
