Description

Jazz Guitar Rhythms: Displaced Half-Notes - Jazz Guitar Lesson In this video, I'lll demonstrate how jazz players can learn to play in half-notes... first on beats 1 and 3 and then with a few possible displacements. I'm using a plain blues in Bb to demonstrate the different rhythms. Being able to hearing a simple figure such a the half-note starting at different places in a bar of 4/4 is an essential skill for all jazz musicians.
