The youngster touched hearts when it was revealed he was beside himself over the loss of his much-loved Simba blanket, misplaced during an outing in Liverpool yesterday. Jake, who is awaiting diagnosis for autism, was on a respite visit with two carers and it was after they left Poundworld they discovered the blanket was missing. A replacement blanket didn't work due to Jake's heightened sense of smell and touch.
