Visit http://www.custom-model-railroads.com for additional information on Model Train Restaurant. Pearl River, New York, The Saloon on Central Ave. has been running G scale trains since the 1980's. DG Design has been maintaining the trains for the last seven years and has been called upon to create a new layout after the Saloon's interior was destroyed by hurricane Irene. The new layout features Thomas the Tank, an old fashion freight steam train and a trolley running on approximately 350' of track. The decor includes a 14' truss warren bridge on 44" towers and two 22' murals composed of photographs of key buildings taken in the town of Pearl River, the mural includes a picture of the Saloon flooded during the hurricane. All the fixtures that hold the track were custom designed and manufactured for this project.
