Description

Earlier this week I moved into a one-bed studio apartment in England. I had never seen the place before I paid my deposit, and after I moved in I noticed a strange hatch in the floor. It's an old converted 19th century monastery, so I thought there might be something interesting underneath. And as it turns out, we have a dungeon. We have a dungeon. It's every badly written horror movie happening in real life. Here is the video tour I made tonight. On 8th October 2013 I submitted a gallery of the dungeon to imgur, http://imgur.com/a/vRp3R. It got 750k views, and according to imgur gained a "record number of reputation points in one day". The reddit post was the 6th most upvoted post in the past 7 days: http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/1o0fcb/so_i_just_moved_into_a_new_apartment_and_made_a/ A selection of the news coverage: The Journal, Ireland: http://www.dailyedge.ie/dungeon-basement-coventry-1123506-Oct2013/ Article in the Daily Star, UK: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/344254/House-of-horrors-Man-discovers-hidden-dungeon-beneath-new-apartment On the local news in Grand Rapids, Michigan: http://www.wzzm13.com/video/2735352576001/1/Man-Discovers-Secret-Dungeon-Under-Apartment At first I thought it was weird that I lived over a dungeon. Now I think it's weird my bedroom is in the news. -------------- Closeup picture of FLASHLIGHT on the sofa: http://imgur.com/EIKb7Of --------------
