Description

Rt-Indus Explained for IDPs and Resettling of North Waziristan. "to properly design for a people, 90% of the job is to fully understand their problem, the context, the people and the land we are obligated to help... and only 10% of what you are able to do to it. When resettling in South Waziristan, it took great effort and resources for us to gather information and skilled labor forces from within the deserted region, before physical work could start. IF THE GREATEST RESOURCE OF THAT LAND HAS COME TO OUR HOME, (IDPs) then why are we not utilizing this time and chance to properly plan forward with their consent and complete involvement? By involving the local people in the planning and resettling of how their homes and villages/settlements, it may begin to lessen the element of "DISPLACEMENT" from the minds of those who are internally displaced today." -hydr mi this interview exposes how we can help, as a people!
