The U-N Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Food Program say the outbreak has left 500-thousand people without enough to eat. The number could reach one million by March. Food security in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone has deteriorated due to crop losses and the disruption of production and supply chains. The outbreak has also hurt the overall economies in Ebola-hit countries, leaving them with less money to pay for necessary food imports. U-N Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is planning to visit the four Ebola-affected countries in West Africa.
