Cape Riding Horse named after the original Cape Horse. Rico doing a short gait on Roder, one of the Cape Horses in training at Botlierskop. Only the typical South African bloodlines and breeds, specifically Boerperd/Nooitgedacht horses are used for breeding. Temperament, hardworking ability and practicality is paramount and only selected horses are for sale. The same horses are used for horseback safaris at Botlierskop.
