Track 1 from Carlos Alomar's album "Dream Generator." --- In recent years I've had a passion for new age music. Not really the Celtic lady-of-the-lake mystical stuff, but rather the groups like Era, Enigma, Paul Schwartz's projects, among many others. This album, Dream Generator, held a certain fascination for me with its dreamlike but upbeat tracks that made me image elaborate stories in my mind. Hell, they still do. Some of my own music has been inspired by this album. --- A self-taught guitarist, Carlos Alomar began playing professionally by the age of sixteen. Alomar later worked for many years with David Bowie as one of his guitarists, as well as providing help in writing various songs. However, in 1980, Bowie and Carlos Alomar went their separate ways, and in 1988 Carlos Alomar released his first--and to date, only--solo New Age album named Dream Generator.
