When Ms. Scott lobbied and won a special four count rule for Iron, and when the two used that rule to upset The Batiri for the AIW Tag Team Championships, fans in Turners Hall once again started paying attention to Iron—the self-proclaimed "best handicapped wrestler in the world"—and Scott. With the Tag Titles around their waists, the pair christened themselves Hope and Change, and while they have brought neither to Absolute Intense Wrestling, they have negotiated the four count into an impressive list of title defenses. The team the four count has frustrated the most? The Batiri. In their initial confrontation, a rematch, and a contest that saw the unlikely pairing of Kodama and Facade, Veronica Ticklefeather's demons have failed to recapture one of the most prized tag team championships in wrestling—the first such titles the demonic duo have won. That's not to say that they haven't left their mark on Hope and Change. Month after month, they've left Iron and Scott lying, knocked out in the aftermath of one concussion-dealing move or another. Frustrated, fed-up, and threatening the livlihoods (and necks) of Hope and Change, Veronica Ticklefeather laid out the ultimate challange to Gregory Iron and Veda Scott on the behalf of her Batiri: Titles vs. Careers. That match has been signed and made official, and, at Absolution VIII, on iPPV, there must be a winner. Either the Batiri and Veronica Ticklefeather leave Cleveland as two-time AIW Tag Team Champions, or they leave without their AIW careers. With the four count in effect and momentum on their side, the deck is stacked in Hope and Change's favor. But the Cleveland crowd has been praying for some team—any team—to win those titles, even if that team's championship celebration could bring about the end of the world! What will happen?
