Description

I was raised in Ottawa and have been passionate about my city, ever since the moment I arrived. I have noticed the impact the Sens have on the city, as well as, the unity they bring to the city during their games. With the NHL SEASON shortened due to the lockout and the Sens making the playoffs, I thought it was a good time to give the Sens the playoff push they need in order to accomplish their final goal at hand. There have been many Sens songs, on many levels and with respect to that I wanted to do something a little different. With that in mind I turned my attention to the captain of the team, Daniel Alfredson, and honour his 18 years in this position. He is an amazing role model and icon for the city. Considering this may potentially be his final season, I decided that it would be best fit to pay respect to the captain by focusing on him in my new song. Alfredson is a great leader who is widely recognized, throughout not only Ottawa, but also Canada. Loyalty, trust and respect are key traits possessed by Alfresdon, which is why I felt compelled to make the Official Alfie Song.
