Thanks to everyone who has supported this worthwhile project to reinstate the Time Capsule Ice Rink. Video shows some of the activity from the opening weekend starting Friday 6th December 2012. Fantastic ice displays from the 'Wild Rose' Russian Figure Skating Dance Troupe, some of our best young talented skaters in the North Lanarkshire Figure Skating Club and an outstanding performance from Brendan Dorrian, Irelands Men's Figure Skating Champion for 2012 and Braehead Clan Ice Hockey Club. The £2.1m project was only possible due to funding received from North Lanarkshire Council, sportscotlands National Lottery Fund, North Lanarkshire Leisure and the Waste Recycling Group. Anyone fancy a go at making your own 'Dancing on Ice' debut, we will look forward to seeing you at the ice rink.
