Description
June 2013 was a History Through the Creative Arts Camp at Old Songs in Voorheesville, NY. Sponsored by Out of the Box Creative Learning. In this camp, we recreated the 1930's artistic and cultural scene learning about music, dancing, food, clothing, poetry, comics, radio, games and much more- all in the context of what was happening politically all around the people who lived back then. For 45 minutes each day, the kids learned swing dancing styles with Tammy Robinson. We had a lot of fun!
