Description

Donald Trump appeared with Bill O’Reilly tonight to talk about his lawsuit against Univision and how incredibly biased NBC is. On "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight, Donald Trump said that he is not backing away from his controversial comments about Mexico and illegal immigrants. Trump is suing Univision to the tune of $500 million for dropping out of airing Miss USA, due to his controversial remarks about Mexican immigrant rapists. Trump insisted that his remarks were “totally accurate,” and while he loves Mexico, “they’re taking our jobs, they’re taking our manufacturing, and they’re taking our money.” He then really went after NBC and Univision, saying that he’s been saying the same thing for years and years and no one at NBC complained. Trump suspected, “I think they are weak and I think they are afraid of the issue at the border.” Trump also lamented how both networks have “totally abandoned” the Miss USA contestants. O’Reilly then asked him if there’s an “anti-conservative bias” at NBC. Trump said they have a “tremendous bias,” specifically calling out Chuck Todd (gee, I wonder why) and telling O’Reilly that MSNBC’s just a “total disaster.” Watch the video below, via Fox News:Bill O'Reilly and Trump discuss NBC & Univision. On "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight, Donald Trump said that he is not backing away from his controversial comments about Mexico and illegal immigrants. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. […] They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said while announcing his run for president. Trump told Bill O'Reilly that he stands by his comments, because "it's totally accurate." "The border is a disaster Bill," Trump said. "People are pouring in, and I mean ... illegal immigrants 300 and some odd thousand are in your state jails right now according to Homeland Security ... This is an amazing statistic, 80 percent of Central American women and girls are raped crossing into the U.S." He said that 80 percent is "hard to believe" and noted that a story was written by Fusion and by Huffington Post. "I love Mexican people," Trump added. "I have a tremendous relationship, I also respect Mexico. But Mexico is doing a tremendous number against the United States. First of all they're killing us at the border. Second of all, Bill what they're doing to us in trade is unbelievable." Trump said he's not angry at Mexico, but angry at "our country for having such bad negotiators and such bad leaders." The presidential candidate also said that he thinks NBC is "weak" and also "afraid" of the border issue. Stay tuned for the video.
