According to some, the Bilderberg Group is the leadership committee for the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), IMF, World Bank, Trilateral Commission, EU, and powerful central bankers from the Federal Reserve, the ECB’s Jean-Claude Trichet, and Bank of England’s Mervyn King. It has been speculated that this powerful and secretive group use their unimaginable resources and influence to stage manage world events, including the global economy, regional wars, and democratic elections, to name a few. The meetings take place amidst a virtual news media blackout despite the fact that every year prominent journalists and news media executives are invited to attend. This year's Bilderberg conference, it is speculated, will likely take place from May 19 to the 23rd. Possible locations for the gathering include The Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, ot Herrington's Pines Resort in Sierra, California. Daniel Estulin is an award-winning investigative journalist who has been nominated for both a Pulitzer Prize and a Nobel Peace Prize for his investigations into this subject which has been shrouded in secrecy for decades. Daniel is the author of a dozen books, including, The True Story of the Bilderberg Group which has sold nearly 5 million copies around the world and translated into 41 languages. In August 2010, Daniel was invited by Fidel Castro for a personal meeting in Havana after Castro read his book on the Bilderbergs. In October 2010, Estulin became the first journalist to give a speech to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Venezuelan armed forces on global financial structures and the Bilderberg group. He has just completed a documentary film, Bilderberg, The Movie which he will present at the University of Toronto's JJR MacLeod Auditorium on Sunday April 17th at 4pm. Daniel will also be giving a 90 minute presentation and fielding questions.
