Description

http://www.KathyFromHonduras.com Just south of Rosarito, before Puerto Nuevo, about 20 minutes from the US / Mexico Border is a really fun fishing town and tidepools, called Popotla. This is a place to live out your seafood fantasies. All along the beach, are displayed the morning's fresh catches, where seals line up for photos and for you to "buy them" a fish snack too. Everybody parks their cars along the beach inlet, with additional parking at a paid lot, and free parking all around. There are many charming seafood restaurants all around. In many ways it's a lot more fun than Puerto Nuevo. And here, they have a specialty even greater than Lobster ... King Spider Crab, live and freshly cooked and cracked in front of your eyes. But if Lobster, Shrimp, or a Fried Fish is what you're looking for, you have those options too, as well as fare for the kids (french fries, fish sticks, burgers, hot dogs). The entire town is setup as a charming walk-through, like an old-wild-west town set at the beach, where in stead of saloons on your left and right as you walk to the end of town, you've got world-class fresh seafood. Watch my video to see the many wonders you can enjoy in this amazing little fishing town.
