Description

http:///www.kinoyoga.com Karandavasana is one of the hardest movements in the Ashtanga Yoga practice. If you're learning this posture it can be really helpful to approach it from many different angles. One of the hardest part of the posture for many people is to be able to take the Lotus Posture from Pinchamayurasana. This video will be helpful for you if that's where you find the hardest time in the posture. If the hips are not open enough to do an easy Padmasana from Upwards Facing Dog then the full posture is really difficult. This movement is only possible if you have an open lotus posture, or Padmaana. Don't try if your lotus is not open. If you can easily do Lotus posture (Padmasana) then this will help you open your psoas muscle and get more deeply into your pelvis. Go slowly and apply healthy backbending technique.
