Description

The Youth Volunteer Summer Program (age 13-18) offers middle school and high school students horticulture experiences working in the Community Kitchen Garden, which harvests food for the Central Virginia Food Bank to provide fresh foods for those in need. Youth Volunteers also work in the Children’s Garden and other areas. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden has a variety of volunteer opportunities for youth including service learning, summer volunteer opportunities, internships, and vocational training.
