About The Role

Frequency is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to support our content marketing and lead acquisition efforts. The role is instrumental in amplifying Frequency’s offering and identifying opportunities to grow the top of the funnel customer base, bringing new customers to Frequency while also helping move existing leads through the sales pipeline. The position is remote and reports to Frequency’s Vice President of Operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own, develop, and execute on new content ideas, strategies, and campaigns to foster engagement and grow the Frequency customer funnel
  • Manage a monthly editorial calendar that aligns with relevant events and product releases that contribute to Frequency objectives
  • Partner with sales and product teams to create comprehensive marketing campaigns around new features, services, and promotions
  • Plan and execute paid search and paid media campaigns
  • Drive optimizations through A/B testing, ad copy testing, and segmentation testing
  • Track and measure performance of campaigns, identifying insights to inform future strategy and testing
  • Deliver insights and actionable findings to the cross functional team to further grow, optimize, and forecast results
Basic Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in content marketing, customer acquisition, and/or paid media
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, including the ability to act as a product or technology advocate by articulating complex products and features in language that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Ability to define product marketing research and learning agendas to derive actionable insights and inform product and marketing strategies
  • Command of business economics and the relationship between spend, monetization, and ROI
  • Knowledge of segmentation principles and creating targeted messages to drive action
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong stakeholder management
  • Comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous and changing space
  • An independent self-starter
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Familiarity with retention marketing performance KPIs and understanding of how to interpret KPIs to inform future strategy
  • Passion for improving processes and workflows
  • Experience using automated solutions to streamline manual tasks
  • Direct experience marketing B2B or SaaS products and services
  • Experience within the media/entertainment industry
