FREQUENCY SIGNS CONTENT DEAL WITH COMEDY TIME
LOS ANGELES - Frequency announced today a partnership with Comedy Time, a leading source in stand-up, sketch and episodic comedic programming since 2004.
David Goldman founded Comedy Time while functioning as President and CEO of Power, one of Hollywood’s leading management and production companies. During Goldman’s tenure at Power, his clients consisted of superstars like Martin Lawrence, Nick Cannon, and John Leguizamo.
"Comedy Time’s broad and diverse programming is something we’re very happy to bring to our audiences," said John Wells, VP of Business Development at Frequency. "Comedy Time has a history of showcasing famed comedians in the early stages of their careers - notably Chelsea Handler and Angela Johnson. Few sources have such a keen eye in identifying hilarious up-and-coming comedic talent like they do."
Comedy Time is now expanding into the production of long-form programming and has produced 50 half-hour episodes.
