Description
On October 17th 2011 Youth Organizing to Save Our Streets organized an anti-violence flash mob to promote peace and to help end gun violence in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The 14-17 year old danced to "Murder to Excellence" by Jay-Z and Kanye West to bring light to this important issues. Passers by got to see a group of young people speak their minds in a creative way. They held signs saying, "Don't Shoot I want to grow up," "I want to live in a community united by PEACE and LOVE not GUNS and DRUGS." Power to the Youth!
