Legalizing marijuana can have a significant impact on the growing federal deficit. If regulated and taxed, the government will make a significant amount of money. Taking into consideration the jobs it would create, the significantly reduced time and money spent in the legal system and the medical benefits, there are many reasons it should be considered.
