Description

Renowned photographer William Yang photographed, "Kontakthof" and "1980", two productions by Pina Bausch at Jim Sharman's Adelaide Festival in 1982. The pictures feature a young Meryl Tankard who was one of the stars of the company Tanztheater Wuppertal. Pina Bausch died in 2009 and Spring Dance 2011 is partly a tribute to her.
