Description
Ever wonder where your favorite stars of old are now? Here are some "then and now" photos of celebrities from the 1980s and early 90s. It's interesting to see how some continued on successfully while others faded. The song used is the ORIGINAL version of "Where Are You Now?" by Jimmy Harnen, recorded in Dunmore, Pennsylvania in 1985. Only a few hundred copies were pressed on 45 RPM records and there was heavy airplay on local radio stations in Northeastern Pennsylvania. (You will hear a few snaps, crackles and pops on this version.) The song was later re-recorded and released by Columbia Records, reaching the Billboard Top 10 without even a music video on MTV. It became a worldwide hit, reaching Number One in the U.K. The stars represented here are basically a random sample and by no means a complete picture of 80s celebrity.
