As the highest trance DJ in the list, and the 8th year in a row of being featured in the Top 3, it's an incredible feat for the Dutchman. No DJ had ever been the number one in the DJ Mag Top 100 for a consecutive 4 years. Neither have many of them managed to clock up more than 11 years of providing a weekly radio show such as A State of Trance. In March 2012, Armin celebrated the 550th episode of the show, with 6 events in 5 cities, uniting millions of listeners all around the globe. He brought a new compilation with 'A State of Trance 2012', and surprised his fans with singles 'Suddenly Summer', 'We Are Here To Make Some Noise' and 'J'ai Envie de Toi'.
