Description
vis·u·al [vizh-oo-uhl] adj. 1. Based on, designed for, or controlled by the use of sight. 2. Producing an image in the mind. 3. Perceptible by the mind; of the nature of a mental vision. 4. Perceptible by the sense of sight; visible: a visual beauty. Title We wanted our magazine to solely display the artists’ work. We wanted art to be the main focus. The art is raw, original and uncensored, and it produces a vivid image in your mind for only you to interpret. Mission We believe that art is not restricted to one medium which is why Visual magazine celebrates all mediums including painting, photography, fashion photography, architecture, poetry, short stories, graphic design, and drawing. We believe that art is not restricted to one location which is why Visual magazine features artists from around the world including (but not limited to) Japan, Russia, United States of America, China, Paris, United Kingdom and Spain. We started Visual magazine because we wanted to provide a platform for artists of all innovative mediums to showcase their talents and visions. Ultimately, we hope to increase artists exposure, and increase enthusiasm and appreciation for art and creative expression. Artist Features VISAUL feature’s work by 70+ big name and small named artists. We have amazing submissions from some of my favorite Artist, including Ashkan Honarvar, Haroshi, Kim Daehyn, Matt Mignanelli, Yoskay Yamamoto, Brian Donnelly and Stephen Wilkes just to name a few. Shows For the release of every issue, we’re having a gallery show. each show will open in a different city, with a open bar reception, for a socially interactive experience with the VISUAL team.
