FREE ROGER! A simple hardworking farmer, father to a beloved daughters, and one son, and member of down-to-earth family needs your help. For eight years, Roger Pion has been subject to harassment by local and county law enforcement. This harassment has included physical violence against Roger. As recently as a month ago, during an arrest over the possession of marijuana, a non violent offense, Roger was beaten by police, resulting in a concussion. He had to be taken to the ER for treatment. Subsequent to this beating, he was falsely charged with resisting arrest. As a victim of police harassment, Roger had nowhere to turn for help. He snapped and drove his family's tractor over seven vacant police cars. Roger had no intention of harming anyone, he merely took out his anger on these objects -- symbols of the harassment he was suffering. Following this event, the police have changed their story. They have unjustly and without cause added the charges of leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and assault upon a police officer. Roger never resisted arrested. Roger did not assault or even attempt to assault any police officers. Additionally, driving the tractor over the police cars was no accident.
