On April 28th, 2012, Tap Cancer Out challenged the BJJ community to not only compete but fundraise on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (http://www.lls.org/aboutlls/chapters/ct/). Competitors who raised over $150 competed for free and were eligible to earn Tap Cancer Out merchandise and other prizes from our supporting sponsors. Over 160 competitors from dozens of schools around New England and the tri-state area ultimately raised more than $21,000 while having a great day of Gi and No-Gi competition.
