The Stuff I Eat.

Something I could not add in this video because it would have made it to long to upload: I do not want anyone to think they have to make these changes all the once. Start with a goal. My goal was to cut out soda. I was drinking one soda a day then I cut it down to half a soda a day to 1 every 2 days then one a week then once a month. Once I made that one small change I found the other changes to be really easy and everything just kind of fell into place over the span of 5 years. Don't try and overwhelm yourself by feeling like if you're not making all these drastic at once, your failing. If you DO make all these drastic changes at once, you will fail. Start small by cutting out something you eat all the time that you know is bad for you (like soda) and just take it from there. Over the past 5 years I've cut out red meat almost entirely, fast food, sodas, bad sweets and sugary snacks, junk food like chips and processed foods. My progress didn't happen over night. But I can say without any hesitation that I look and feel a million times better than I did 5 years ago. I can still wear the same size jean I wore as a freshman in high school. I also eat a lot of spinach and dark green veggies. Spinach is very good for you. It's loaded with iron, zinc, calcium, vitamin E,C,D and a bunch of other stuff. Many of the foods I eat also act as an Anti Aging property and fight premature aging. Salmon, Walnuts, Blueberries, Cherries and Carrots are just some of the foods I eat that prevent sun damage, premature aging and acne flair ups. Spinach is also very good in fighting free-radicals and preventing sagging skin. Everything I cook is from scratch, it's fresh from the farmers market. I do not buy box dinners or frozen dinners. Frozen veggies are actually not bad for you, but please stay away from canned veggies. They are LOADED with sodium and very bad for you. Please, if you're going to start cooking vs eating out always use fresh ingredients.
