Description
The United Nations has criticised South Sudan's government for its handling of ethnic fighting in Jonglei State. It says the army wasn't able to prevent the deaths of about 900 people during a wave of cattle raids between rival clans. The deadly clashes between the Nuer and the Murle tribe have left more than 60,000 people homeless, stripped of their livelihoods and dependent on aid. Al Jazeera's Peter Greste reports.
