In the first season of the hit WB series 'Smallville,' we were introduced to Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), an inquisitive reporter for her high school paper, The Torch, with the aspirations of landing that big career at the Daily Planet, in Metropolis. With her best friends, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Pete Ross (Sam Jones III), Chloe helps uncover the truth behind Smallville's strangest mysteries that all seem to circle around the meteor rocks. Through Clark, Chloe meets Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum), but her desire to scratch to the surface of the truth behind "level 3" far outweighs his charm. Chloe is faced with the challenge of choosing her friends over her subjects, but can she truly leave the mystery that is Clark Kent alone? Speaking of, with the Spring Formal coming up, will Clark ask Chloe to the dance even with his eyes for Lana (Kristin Kreuk)? The complete first season is available on DVD.
